June 2021

Dear Members and Friends of Glendale Temple,

It is with great joy that we share with you the news that Glendale Temple will be resuming Sunday morning services, beginning on July 11th. This will include the Meditation Service at 10:00 a.m. and the Lecture Service at 11:00 a.m.

This past year has provided us with wonderful opportunities to gather together virtually for meditations, study classes, retreats, Convocation and other special events. And now, we warmly invite you to join us once more for in-person Temple services.

In caring for your wellbeing, we have implemented some changes at the Temple including:

• Touch-free hand-sanitizer units and soap dispensers and sink fixtures.

• Some outdoor seating will be provided.

• We will not be passing the offertory baskets during the services. However, after the service there will be baskets available where you can place your donation gifts.

Regarding the wearing of masks, per Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local government guidelines, masks are optional for the vaccinated and required for the unvaccinated and partially vaccinated.

If all goes well at our Sunday services, we plan to gradually reintroduce other Temple activities. It may be a while before we are able to resume Sunday School activities. Please note that at this time we are asking that children under the age of 12 not attend, until we are able to offer Sunday School again.

If you have any questions or concerns, you are most welcome to contact us at: anahata@SBCGlobal.net

Thank you for your understanding, support and prayers. We look forward to seeing you soon!

In divine friendship,

Brother Bhumananda
