Welcome

Self-Realization Fellowship Convocation

July 30 - August 5

Self-Realization Fellowship is hosting its annual Convocation beginning July 30th, 2023 and running through August 5th. This year's events will be hybrid, with in-person lectures and classes being live-streamed all over the world from multiple locations.

Devotees will have the opportunity to attend in-person as live-streaming is being filmed or watch these classes, lectures, kirtan's and meditations from home.

Also, many temples will be holding "viewing parties" where devotees will be gathering and watching some of the live-streaming events & meditations together.

We are blessed this year to have two events being live-streamed from Glendale Temple. If you wish to attend either of these events in-person, you must register on the Convocation website and choose these events specifically (seating is limited).

Additionally, we will be gathering at the temple to view some of the live-streaming events, including Brother Chidananda's 3-hour meditation on Wednesday morning and the closing class Saturday. No registration is necessary for these viewing parties.

Mahavatar Babaji Commemoration Service, July 25

We welcome you to join us in commemorating Mahavatar Babaji on Tuesday, July 25. A meditation begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the devotional service at 8:00 p.m. It is traditional to bring a flower, symbolizing devotion, and an offering in an envelope as a symbol of loyalty to the Guru and his teachings.

Thank you for your donations

We deeply appreciate and welcome your support of the Glendale Temple. Your gift enables us to fund the vital services and activities that we offer to our members and larger community, and to maintain our sacred facilities.

“Self-realization is the knowing — in body, mind, and soul — that we are one with the omnipresence of God; that we do not have to pray that it comes to us, that we are not merely near it at all times, but that God’s omnipresence is our omnipresence; that we are just as much a part of Him now as we ever will be. All we have to do is improve our knowing.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda
