Every gift is deeply appreciated and will help to make a difference at our beautiful Glendale Temple. We thank you for your continuing support.
At the current time our main fundraising goal is to set aside adequate funds to cover expenses incurred from work on the hillside behind the temple from the fire in 2013 and the subsequent costs of cleaning up the mud that spills into the parking lot after heavy rains.
Donations we receive in response to this appeal will be deposited into the Glendale Temple Building Fund at the Mother Center. They will be used to support the mud control efforts, and they may also be used to cover large maintenance expenses associated with the temple’s buildings and future meeting facilities, grounds, equipment, furniture, vehicles, fundraising expenses, property taxes, and any potential future property purchases—which are not typically funded through our operating budget.
While it is Self-Realization Fellowship’s intent to use all designated gifts as outlined above, SRF reserves the right for the use of all gifts to SRF to be determined by the Board of Directors of Self-Realization Fellowship. In exceptional circumstances where the designated purposes are no longer feasible or have already been completed, or for other good cause, the SRF Board may redirect such gifts to other appropriate ministries or projects, including any project that comes closest to the basic original purpose of the designation.
Our goal for this fundraiser is approximately $100,000 in the next two years, which will help support the expenses mentioned above. More details and pictures about the mud control efforts can be found below.
